A new poll out Wednesday showed Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton 47 to 40.4 percent — his largest margin yet in the presidential race. With this being said, the Pokemon company has taken action to bring politics into the Pokemon games coming out this November 2016.
After Hillary’s brilliant speeches at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, the bold and innovative people behind the Pokemon Company and Game freak inc. have decided to take the most influential people of the year and turn them into the pocket monster we love and battle!
The first Pokemon introduced in the most recent trailer for the new Pokemon Sun and Moon games is modeled after the presidential poll leader, Donald Trump. The similarities are uncanny right down to the sharp teeth that make up his fake smile.
The distinct hair on the Pokemon is a sure sign that this would be his “mini me” in the Pokemon world. The pokemon’s name is Gumshoos. The reason behind the name is unclear, but it can be speculated to hide the true feelings of what most Americans think of Donald Trump.
Another person the Pokemon took in consideration without bringing politics into the game, was Actor and avid Surfer, Jason Momoa. Jason has recently added the DC character, Aquaman to his list of movie roles and has taken the role to heart knowing that this character has a close relation to the water and the creatures within it.
Being a powerful Hawaiian native, he was given a pokemon to represent his heritage and ancient ancestors of Hawaii. The Pokemon’s name is unknown, but it’s first evolution was revealed during the trailer of Sun and Moon.
