As a Trump presidency begins to look more inevitable, a record number of US citizens are expected to flee the country and seek refugee status in the year 2017.  Canada has responded to the possible increase in demand by introducing a bill that will make it ‘easier than ever’ for someone to immigrate to Canada to start a new life.

[adinserter block=”6″][adinserter block=”3″]The new bill shortens the amount of time someone must live in Canada to receive citizenship, making it easier for someone to claim Canada as their new home country.  Political insiders believe Canada expects to possibly benefit greatly from US citizens fleeing, much like seen when skilled people fled Europe during the second great war in the 1940s.
