Obama Gives ‘The Sims’ Creators The ‘OK’ Remove Gender Restrictive Clothing and HairStyles

Obama has done it again! He’s giving the Maxis and EA Games the OK to remove gender restrictive clothing for the new Sims 4 for PC and Mac.The interview with the executive producer for the game stated very bluntly and frankly,

‘Female Sims can wear sharp men’s suits like Ellen, and male Sims can wear heels like Prince.’– Rachel Franklin, The Sims 4 executive producer.

Sims 4 allows hairstyles, clothing, shoes, and even new mannerisms for suggested gender swapping. New body types will also be added to show off the new accessories for the Sims 4 characters.

‘The move brings The Sims in line with its depiction of gay, lesbian and bisexual characters. The franchise has included same-sex relationship options since its 2000 debut, although gamers who desired virtual nuptials for their Sims of the same sex had to wait until the release of The Sims 3 in 2009.’

If that isn’t enough the game will now allow for children to fall into zoo enclosures within the game’s featured attractions. This is so that the player or players can decide for themselves what to do with the animals once encountered. Several choices have been tested, but the extension pack is still in development for Sims 4.

Obama cannot do this kind of thing to the gaming world. It should be strictly man and woman loving one another and nothing more! How dare he corrupt the minds of our children with his nonsense and dallywaggle talks.

You know, I thought the “Thanks Obama” meme was generally just supposed to be funny. However, it occurs to me as I read this article that some people will blame Obama for anything.

Despite how you feel about Obama or Transgender people… Why would a game development studio go to a former US president to ask permission to do something that he has no power to stop them from doing?
