A report on Eater.com alleges that a Nigerian restaurant served meat to customers over one year ago.
The shocking report alleges a customer paid upward of $3.50 for a meal at a hotel’s restaurant. In Nigeria, where salary may not be more than $1 a day, such a meal is very expensive. A restaurant employee allegedly told the man that the mat caused the price to skyrocket and later accounts claim the meat was actually human.
The veracity of the report originally published in Nigeria’s ‘sixth largest online publication’ is debated.
